PDV Fleet Size Reviews
The Passenger Transportation Board periodically reviews the number of vehicles that are being operated by licensees with passenger directed vehicles (PDVs). The review is limited to licensees that have been operating below the maximum allowable fleet size for at least 2 consecutive years. When the review concludes, the maximum fleet size may be reduced to reflect actual or planned levels of operation, or it may remain unchanged. Licensees included in a PDV review are notified and given an opportunity to provide information about operating levels, local transportation market conditions and plans for the future.
